There were no blogs all these days for i was having a cool time as far as the power supply was concerned.
things were working fine and i indeed wanted to publish a THANK YOU NOTE. but you know the problem with my internet connection.
the voltage now a days is a regular 230 - can you imagine ?! well that is the truth. the usual voltage one can get in india is about 180volts and the equipments over here are customized to that voltage and i was wondering whether my water pump which is doing an excellent job was going to get damaged with the 230 volts current.
But i am not supposed to have a cool time.
all was well; but not for some time now.

I. I
have been experiencing repeated unexplained disruptions of the
electric power supplying my home ( consumer no. 16340 ) lasting
hours during the day time - that was over and above the day time
power cuts in vogue till recently.
II. In
the night time, after 11 pm, the electric power is being switched off
and on repeatedly at frequent intervals as if a child ( it
could be an inebriated adult as well ) is sitting at
the controls.
III. Kindly
see that this matter is not connected with the onset of the
monsoons; I had represented on the matter to 155333 earlier. But the
problem persists.
IV.
I feel this problem has to be at the substation level or above and
is not within the prowess of the electrical section and as such am
bringing it to your kind notice.

IN this country there is hardly anyone who will dare contradict the gestapi - that is the indian edition of the gestapo.
right now i was trying to access the net from my adsl with bsnl. this time after going as far as "verifying user name and pass word the system was getting stuck and was ultimately coming up with a response that the server computer is not responding.
i used my reliance wireless modem to access and publish this page - some parts of the page had been taken off like the number of teh speed post letter from which anyone can online track its progress and the comments about the gestapi.
well i had a hunch that once i publish this the adsl will start working and so i disconnected reliance wireless and tried bsnl again and it is working.
well right now the adsl light went off and came back again!
